I have 8 years of design experience in Start-up environments. I have been using Solidwork for 15 years now, both in and out of college, and I have my own copies of both SolidWorks Premium and SolidWorks Simulation Pro. This allows me to not only design a full CAD model but also perform FEA simulations to determine strength. I also have 5 years of hands on manufacturing experience where I not only designed equipment but would then build it myself. This ranged from hydraulic power sources to welding robots to large scale, high precision welding jigs and this has given me a unique understanding into how to design things so they can also be built easily.
I can do basic CAD models based off of sketches and return to you any part files you may need such as STEP, DXF, DWG or anything else needed for manufacturing purposes. I can also do ground up design of a project from just a basic concept including all engineering work and part sourcing.
I am very detailed in my work and always try to find the best possible solution to the problem at hand as quickly as possible. I design with both the final assembly and aesthetics in mind to insure that the final product goes together smoothly and looks as good as it functions.
I am looking forward to hearing about what exciting ideas you have in mind which you would like to see become reality, because that is what I do best.

To be an engineer in the 21st century, to me, means to be at the front lines of creative innovation, selflessness and a holder of technical knowledge. Mechanical engineering has been a way to express myself creatively as well as challenge myself technically and intellectually. I have a passion for driving projects to be the best they can be and to ultimately take them to another level above what is the current bench mark. I enjoy working with groups and find group dynamics to serve as a main contributor to a projects future success. I have gained an immense amount of experience through academics, jobs and Internships throughout my college career and am ready to work on some side projects to drive new products to new great heights for ethical, innovative and ambitious reasons.

Born in Cadiz, Spain, I always had a passion for design and manufacturing. Nurturing this passion started with recreational boating where I learned about design and building from an incredible master builder. Shortly after, I joined an architectural firm on which I also developed a taste for construction and its intricacies. I was exposed to everything from blueprints to the production of scale models (maquettes). During this time, I also obtained a certificate as a Solar Project Designer through Censolar. I also worked in plumbing designing water systems for irrigation, pools, residential sanitary water, and a few other projects. My interest in design had just begun and there was a long and interesting road ahead of me.
Years later in 2003, I moved to the US where I married my wife, with whom I share a beautiful kid. Moving here opened many doors and I dove into these opportunities head first. In 2004 I joined ACC and attained an AA in Mechanical Design, and from then on I have developed upon that skill. My design exposure since moving to the US has been as follows:
* National Instruments, involved in virtual instrumentation design.
* Alpha Slip Rings, designing custom commutators for oil drilling, radars, etc.
* Sisu Devices, robots and industrial automation.
* Biomedical design for Global.
* Thermal tooling and mechanical solutions design for Intel, CNC machining, and where I also lead the board repair lab.
