I am a current Design Engineer living in Arizona running my own LLC. I went to school for Mechanical Engineering and also have a 2 year degree in Machine Shop Technology. Background comes from both manual and CNC machining. My hobbies include working on motorcycles and cars in the garage to product design on my free time. I have helped people in startups, 3D printing, paper drawings to solid models, and everything in between.

Hello! My name is Alex and I am a non-traditional student entrepreneur. I have over 6 years of experience in the Medical Injection Molding industry, most recently as a Lead Process Technician. Past work experience has also allowed me to work with automation and robotics, welding/fabricating, injection molding/extrusion, milling/turning/CNC; as well as mechanical design. Currently I am looking to get into more Design Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering positions. I enjoy looking for ways to improve processes. I own/operate my own LLC. that is used for Prototyping projects. Communicating with clients and continuous improvement are very important to me. I represent Vector Technology Systems, and we have more than 15 years of experience with product design, 3D scanning and 3D printing prototyping techniques. Our staff has designed, reverse engineered parts and created 3D drawings for the automotive parts, consumer goods such as footwear, power tools, kitchen wares, electronics packaging molds, etc. We have expertise in new product development, and making high quality functional prototypes. We have access to large and small format SLA, FDM, SLS printers, CNC routers, Thermoforming m/c etc. For reverse engineering, we have Artec and Thunk 3D scanners. We use solidworks, rhino, 3D rendering software such as keyshots etc for 3D modelling, drawing creation, and 3D renderings.

I entered into the world of Mechanical Design and Drafting back in 2010 at the age of 15. I landed a summer internship at a company called Applied Medical, learning the basics of proper drafting and CAD techniques along with machining theory and practices. I then went on to spend just over 3 years there continuing to learn and grow with the company. After that I moved out to Arizona to pursue a career in CNC programming/Setup. I currently work for an aerospace company where I create part models and drawings, create G Code programs for those parts, and then set them up on 5-Axis machines.
