With a dynamic career as a Civil Engineer and Drafter spanning over six years, I bring to the table a wealth of experience, a strong commitment to precision, and a passion for exceeding expectations. My journey started in 2016, and since then, I've worn multiple hats, from inspection and testing roles to drafting and designing for complex projects. My current role as a Project Engineer involves overseeing a team of design engineers on large-scale industrial site development projects. This diverse experience has shaped me into a versatile professional who is comfortable navigating the many facets of civil engineering. In terms of technical skills, my proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D sets me apart. This mastery was honed through my time as a drafting professor, a role in which I developed a comprehensive curriculum and wrote over 800 pages of material. This experience not only deepened my own knowledge but also equipped me with the skills to communicate complex concepts effectively. Among my notable projects are Amazon distribution centers, Domino's stores, and public water and sewer mains spread across Oregon, Western Washington, and as far as Tennessee. Each project has sharpened my ability to conduct detailed stormwater and wastewater management solutions, site grading, road design, sewer lift stations, and many other tasks, all of which are completed with rigorous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering results on time and within budget. Educationally, I hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a minor in applied physics from an ABET accredited institution. Graduating summa cum laude, I proved my dedication to my field and my commitment to achieving high standards. My strengths lie not only in my technical abilities but also in my strategic approach to project management and my meticulous attention to detail. I kick off projects with a comprehensive schedule, identify critical paths and target dates, maintain consistent communication with clients, and ensure all discussions are documented for future reference.
