A beginning graphic designer with an associate’s degree looking to join the graphic design industry. My goal is to use my creative talents to benefit the company and bring joy to others. I'm knowledgeable in using various production software such as Photoshop, Maya, Libre Office, Unity, Animate, Illustrator, Indesign, and Wavepad. I’ve had practice in 2D/3D art production software. Working in Photoshop and Maya are two of my strongest skills. I enjoy creating art pieces or other 2D designs such as a website page, advertisement, or greeting card. There are also many miscellaneous objects and props I build in Maya for fun. One of my biggest projects was to design and build a 3D environment from scratch. Throughout all these, soft skills were also put to the test. Some examples intrude problem solving, improvising, and deciding on a different approach when my original plan doesn’t work. Most of my 3D work experience comes from my time working for a small custom shop in Olympia Washington. There I used my mechanical inclination for surgical tool design and modification. Hello! I am an engineer currently looking to support myself financially as I job search in this all-too-tough job market. If you need some help or want to offload some work, I am your guy! Software expertise in ABAQUS, HyperWorks, and Optistruct with experience in Solidworks as well as python for data visualization. My skills are structural analysis, optimization, data visualization, and finite element analysis. Mostly in aerospace applications but the skills are transferrable to mechanical engineering applications as my M.S. focus was in Structures. Former member of the Multiscale Analysis of Materials and Structures (MAMS) Lab where I optimized the layup of an AFP produced CFRC cryogenic tank made to hold rocket propellant for space-bound missions. Results showed mass savings of ~30% and manufacturing time savings of ~40% compared to traditional tank layups yielding implied savings worth millions of dollars.
