I am a Mechanical Engineer with proficient skills in both Solidworks and AutoDesk AutoCAD. I have used AutoCAD on 2D development as a Solar PV engineer for the past 7 years. I have been using AutoCAD in general since 2002. My Solidworks experience is with Sheet Metal Parts and other mechanical parts and assemblies. I have been using SolidWorks since 2002 as well, with a majority of my work being done over the past 6 years. I am constantly working with both SolidWorks (2016) and AutoCAD (2014) currently. I have been working as a Freelancer for the past year and a half and I have found I am overall more productive than when I was chained to a desk. I have been involved with projects that ranged in size from a few hours worth of work through multi-month long projects. I am also very verse in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power point, Project) and can develop reports to accompany parts or other tasks within the suite.
