I happen to be a relentless problem solver with experience working with Solidworks to produce 3D models and technical documentation for components and assemblies. I recently developed prototype robot grippers for various robotics and factory automation systems with Numatic Engineering. Outside of school, I am heavily involved in the collegiate design competition Formula SAE where I lead a team of six engineering students in designing, fabricating, and validating the chassis and ergonomic systems of Cal Baptist Racings' sixth competing internal combustion racecar. I worked for a 3D modeling and animation software company based in San Diego, CA called Pixels Inc., maker of the Mac OS Pixels 3D suite of modeling, animation and rendering tools. Pixels also created the Tempest Renderer which used Total impact G4 multi-chip cards (up to 52 processors in a box about the size of a PC tower). While at Pixels, I worked with companies like Digital Domain, Industrial Light and Magic, and Apple Inc. (The software was a Mac only suite). I was also responsible for building software plugin installers and helping national and international customers with sales, installations, and general trouble shooting of both technical and creative natures. During that time, I also attended and graduated from the Art Institute of California with an Associate of Science in 3D, holding the distinction of receiving the "Best Portfolio" award for the class of 2001.
