Tripp graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.S. in Industrial Technology with an emphasis in Design And Development. He worked 12 years in the Oil and Gas industry as a mechanical drafter and design engineer. He's held the titles of Designer, Drafter, Project Designer, and Sr. Designer. Tripp also serves on the School board in his community as the Board President. Tripp has been married for 20 years and though he and his wife have no children, they have two dogs and a cat that they consider their children. He enjoys taking his wife and dogs camping in their RV whenever he gets the chance.

I am a Certified Professional Building Designer with 7 years of hands on Architectural Design and Drafting experience. I am highly proficient in using Sketchup Pro and Layout, as well as AutoCAD to produce construction and design documents. My experience pertains to producing design drawings for residential and light commercial projects, and for all phases including Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents. I maintain my title as Certified Professional Building Designer with the National Council of Building Designer Certification, Which requires at least 6 years of Drafting Experience to qualify to take the exam. Upon successfully passing the exam it then requires 8 credit hours of continuous education per year to maintain certified status.
