I specialize in functional 3D modeling, 3D printing, prototyping, and custom part design with a strong background in hands-on technical troubleshooting. My work focuses on creating practical models that are meant to actually fit, function, and be manufactured or 3D printed—not just look good on screen. I have experience designing and modifying replacement parts, brackets, hooks, mounts, adapters, arcade machine components, personalized products, prototypes, and other functional objects based on measurements, photographs, sketches, existing parts, or a client's idea. My workflow can include: Creating custom 3D models from measurements or reference images Designing functional parts for 3D printing Recreating broken or unavailable plastic components Modifying and repairing STL files Resizing and adapting existing models Adding holes, mounting points, text, logos, and other features Designing brackets, hooks, mounts, adapters, spacers, and connectors Preparing models for reliable 3D printing Evaluating print orientation, strength, supports, and manufacturability Printing and physically testing prototype designs Revising models based on real-world fit and function My background also includes Unity development, arcade equipment, electronics, Arduino systems, sensors, switches, controls, PCs, and hardware/software troubleshooting. That experience helps me understand how a custom-designed part will interact with the equipment around it. I particularly enjoy projects where a client has a real-world problem such as: “I can't buy this replacement part anymore.” “This part keeps breaking.” “I need something to mount these two components together.” “I have an idea but don't know how to turn it into a printable model.” “I have an STL that needs to be changed.” If you can provide measurements, photographs, sketches, an existing model, or the original component, I can help determine a practical way to turn it into a usable 3D design. I value clear communication, accurate measurements, practical design decisions, testing, and iterative improvement.

I am a freelance CGI Artist and Creative Director with over a decade of experience transforming complex CAD data into stunning, photorealistic imagery and animation. With a background in advertising photography, I bring a photographer's eye for lighting and composition to the 3D world. I specialize in product visualization and packaging art, having trusted partnerships with major brands like Milwaukee Tool, Bosch, Dremel, and Shark Ninja. My workflow includes Cinema 4D, Redshift, Unreal Engine, and After Effects, ensuring high-end results for engineering-focused projects.

I'm an independent inventor and product developer with over 30 years of professional experience in mechanical design, electromechanical systems, industrial automation, research and development, and hands-on prototype construction. I hold three patents spanning mechanical, electrical, and software design. I've spent much of my career turning ideas into functional products, developing innovative mechanisms, solving unusual engineering problems, and building equipment that performs tasks conventional solutions cannot accomplish. I founded and operated my own product-development and manufacturing business, bringing original inventions through prototype development, testing, refinement, production, and commercialization. My specialty is taking an idea that exists only in someone's imagination and figuring out how to make it work. I work with individual inventors, entrepreneurs, and small businesses who need practical, creative assistance developing new products, mechanical devices, experimental equipment, and electromechanical systems. Invention Development & Proof-of-Concept Prototyping - Invention concept evaluation and feasibility - Mechanical and electromechanical invention development - Functional proof-of-concept prototype construction - Mechanical problem-solving and design improvement - Experimental testing and iterative development - Industrial automation and control-system concepts - Custom mechanisms and specialized equipment Custom Kinetic Sculpture, Imagineering & Mechanical Art I also specialize in imagineering — combining imagination, engineering, and artistic creativity to bring unusual ideas to life. I design and build custom kinetic sculptures, animated mechanical artwork, electromechanical displays, and one-of-a-kind creations that incorporate movement, mechanical ingenuity, and visual interest. My approach goes beyond traditional sculpture. I develop the mechanisms, motion systems, electrical controls, and physical structures needed to transform an imaginative concept into a functioning artistic creation. Hands-On Development I'm not limited to computer-generated designs. I have decades of experience personally fabricating, assembling, troubleshooting, testing, and improving the products and mechanisms I develop. If you have an invention idea, a difficult technical challenge, or an imaginative mechanical creation in mind, I'd welcome the opportunity to discuss how we might bring it to life.
