I'm a mechanical engineer and all-around tinkerer who's passionate about taking ideas from concept to reality and finding creative solutions to existing problems. I specialize in CAD design and prototype fabrication, and I thrive in unfamiliarity; I'm constantly learning new skills to facilitate my creativity and help my projects progress. I'm known for making friends with people from all departments and for identifying and utilizing their skills. As an advocate for renewable energy, I look for ways to reduce emissions and waste. My personal time is almost always filled by snowmobiling, canyoneering, traveling, machining, watching engineering-related videos on YouTube, or working on side projects.

Started out with 2D AutoCAD in 1992. Moved up to 3D (Pro-ENGINEER) in 1993 and designed new food processing equipment for 10 years. Move to a large pump design company and designed municipal pumps for 15 years. Moved to a Robotics company and design robot components. All the while, I did freelance 3D Design for inventors, new product developers and a wide variety of companies on their projects. I continue to work in 3D Design because I love the work and I love helping people bring their ideas into fruition.

Also solved various problems and helped streamline production. 5 years experience with Inventor. Mechanically inclined. Can work with any tolerances required.
