I am a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for using my skills in mechanical and creative design to help others achieve their goals. I have 6 years of experience as a designer and project manager working as a Mechanical Engineer for an engineering and manufacturing company in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Clients I have been privileged to work with include Formula 1 racing teams, NASA, various aerospace companies, military organizations, medical companies, and many others. My experience as a Mechanical Engineer includes R&D, product design/prototyping, CAD, finite element analysis, and drawing generation. Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of helping others bring their ideas from concept to reality, whether that meant creating a prototype or bringing it to production. I have a strong background in designing for manufacturability, especially CNC milling, laser/waterjet cutting, sheet metal, welding, and 3D printing.

A Naval Architect by training (registered CEng UK), with a wide range of experience from projects covering initial structural design, detailed analysis and through build implementation and regulatory facilitation. Having worked for the last 10+ years in practical engineering design, my primary focus is to work to the limitations of the project time scale, materials and workforce capability. Projects have ranged from support structures for 100tonne pieces of equipment three stories above the deck of a ship, scratch designed A-frame for launch and recovery of ROVs to design evaluation of wave energy devices.
