Hello my name is Jason I have 17 years experience as a project manager/auto cad technician/3D designer. I have a lot of experience creating production blueprints, floor plans, elevations, as well drawings for CNC production. I also have the ability to create 3D photo realistic drawings. I have worked for seven years in the exhibit industry. This allowed me to work with some of the newest and greatest material available. Such as paper stone and bamboo plywood. I also worked for two years as the main drafting /engineer/project manager at a millwork shop that produced all of the interior decor to four restaurants. I have worked for two exhibit companies as a project manager/auto cad technician. The exhibit industry is always looking to use the latest and greatest materials. Designing and building booths for tradeshows always makes you think outside the box. Not only did we design and create 3D renderings of the booths we also created all the production plans required to build and assemble. After the exhibit industry I worked as a project manager/auto cad technician/designer, at a millwork/interior decor company. Here I have a lot of freedom to think outside the box as well. I created drafting and drawing standards at the facility that are still in place today. At this company I would take architectural drawings and turn them into 3D renderings as well as construction documents.

I have been working as a mechanical engineer / design engineer for the last 10 years. Over this time period I have worked in numerous different fields. I have designed tanning beds, black-hawk helicopter parts, semi-truck tarp systems, aircraft insulation, race car parts, test rigs for all sorts of automotive parts, diesel engine/truck parts. Hello, I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Purdue University and Product Design is my forte. I have 3+ years of CAD experience on projects that I have worked on at school and my internships. I have worked on some high-priority projects in my internships and have designed an entire validation test fixture by myself. During my internship, I also created industry specification CAD drawings. I also worked with manufacturers before and am updated on the latest ASME GD&T standards. I am available for work and can put up to 10 hours a week (More hours if required). I can assure high quality of design. I have experience in Solidworks, Siemens NX and AutoCAD. I also perform FEA on Ansys if required. I'm looking for ways to make added income while at the same time sharpening my design skills. My background prior to design was in in remote and austere medicine, so this is new, but i LOVE IT.
