I am an Engineering Manager at an industrial rotating equipment manufacturer in the United States with 12+ years of experience in package design, product development, 2D and 3D CAD work, sales drawings, preliminary layouts, P&IDs, and more. My expertise is in rotating equipment, specifically centrifugal pumps, vacuum pumps, and compressors from 1.5 HP (1 kW) to upwards of 1,000 HP (750 kW). I have also had experience in other pneumatic applications as well as office furniture design. I have designed piping runs (including valves, gauges, transmitters, other instrumentation), structural steel frames, gear reducers, V-Belt driven equipment, selected motors, designed for adherence to stringent specifications, and communicate regularly directly with customers. I am finishing my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and will continue to pursue my MBA after that. I am a Mechanical and Drafting Engineer with a background in product development and marketing strategies. I own a local design firm with which I work primarily in the firearms and defense industry designing and producing high quality aftermarket parts and assemblies for both private and commercial markets. I currently hold 3 patent pending designs/products in the firearms industry with 3 more being added in the second quarter of 2017 with new product releases.
