WHO I AM? I was born in Istanbul/Beyoglu on 12.03.1988. My education life has been in Istanbul and is continuing. I started my undergraduate education in Marmara Uni. in 2005. The same year my work life started part time in ARC Design a firm that does product design. The past 9 years i have been working as a designer in different countries and firms. Some of these are Defne Engineering (Istanbul), Turklift (Ankara), Mega Teknik (Ankara), HS Engineering (Mongolia- Russia). Meanwhile I have been working on freelance design too. Till this day I have done the product design and the conceptual design of over 500 products that have been manufactured. Some of these are considerably valuable while the others are small products. In the last years i have been working as a freelance designer in the field of automotive accessory design.

Hello, I'm Umut. As a self-learning designer, I have worked on various projects and participated in competitions for 5 years, besides, I am looking for new opportunities to improve myself in the professional field. As for my own personal story: Art and technology have always been two areas of my interest. Today, at the junction of these two areas, I am trying to improve myself as a designer focused on solving people's problems with products with strong aesthetics. I also do logo design and am interested in photography as a hobby. Although I do not see myself as a highly experienced professional designer, I believe that as I develop myself, I can contribute to other people in this field with a different perspective and I continue to work for this cause. I began working as senior design engineer in the defense industry with Repkon Machine Company in 2014. During the past five years i have focused making innovative design for mobile robots. I have been in work experience since my high school years. While studying Rail Systems Engineering at Karabük University, I provided design services to companies as a freelance in my senior year due to my interest in design. I made 3D designs of different parts and also provided graphic design services. Then, I took on design and project engineering activities in different companies since 2021. I designed the product from scratch and made existing revisions when necessary. I took part in quality, design and components. After the products were put into series, I personally participated in the production process and experienced the production process.
