For the past 7.5 years I have been working as a freelance mechanical design engineer providing mechanical engineering solutions to problems faced in today's industry. I specialise in 3D modelling and I am qualified to "Solidworks Certified Professional" status. In my most recent role I have been working as a contract design manager (hands on design as well as management) for a company which manufactures bespoke packaging machinery and vision inspection systems for the pharmaceutical industry. After graduating in 2014 I started working for Burn Design Lab designing biomass cookstoves for East African markets. I then moved full time to Nairobi, Kenya to support prouduction and head up new design projects. In 2019 I received my Master’s degree in Design and Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, after which I began working for Dyson in early 2020.
