Mechanical Cad Designer with over 25 years experience with electrical switchgear & more recently railway signalling & infrastructure equipment. Started at Ferranti as an apprentice in 1987 through to mechanical detail draughtsman and then Siemens (UK & Germany) involved with LV Switchgear and now involved with design for UK railway infrastructure projects, from signalling to trackside & in-track equipment. Main specialty is 3D modelling of parts & assemblies for sheet metal work, jigs & fixtures for CNC machining & robot laser welding/cutting.
