Hi there! I'm an 18 year old self taught hard surface modeller from London who's aspiring to work in the vfx industry upon completing my portfolio. I very much enjoy 3D modelling and using kit-bash assets to create renders of my own. Right now I mainly use blender for my 3D models, as that's the 3D modelling software i'm most proficient in, however I am slowly transitioning to using Maya and Arnold for some of my renders. During my degree I modelled multiple parts which include: an aerospace landing mechanism, a turboprop propeller with gears and casing, and a Cessna 172 wing with various wing tip designs. Whilst on my 15 month industry placement, working for a precision engineering company, I would use SolidWorks on a daily basis in order to create a 3D model from an engineering drawing. Modifications would often be needed to the model in order for the part to be machinable on the CNC machines.
