Hi, I am a freelance 3D Visualiser and qualified Architectural Technician based in Leeds (UK) skilled in 3DS Max/V-ray & AutoCAD. I work in close liaison with architects, developers, marketing agencies and design consultants to produce architectural CGI which is used primarily to communicate design concepts to clients. Working on projects throughout the UK, I provide still imagery, VR and animations to facilitate the marketing and planning requirements of projects, as well as being used as a means of securing project funding and sponsorship.
I have over 35 years experience working in a design environment, working with AutoCAD since 1989 & in the mid 1990's I worked as a beta tester for Autodesk and in 1998 had 3D work published in CADdesk magazine. I get most of my work through recommendations, as I put a high value on the quality of work and the ability to hit agreed deadlines. Fees are generally agreed either as a 'fixed fee per project', on a 'daily rate' or 'monthly retainer' for longer term projects.

I am a designer and engineer that has worked on a very wide variety of projects over the years. Solidworks is my 3D modelling program of choice.
My background is that I grew up in Birmingham, studied and worked in Bristol and currently live in London. I have a Masters in Mechanical Engineering, and worked a total of six years at Airbus (formerly British Aerospace). I ended up as a Structural Design Engineer, working with CAD, focussing on wing design for research and new projects.
I left Airbus to pursue further studies and completed the Innovation Design Engineering course, a combined MA/MSc co-run by the Royal College of Art and Imperial College in the summer of 2011.
I have been freelancing since then on a wide variety of tasks, running the gamut from creative to technical for such clients as Epson, Intel, Loowatt, the Royal College Of Art, Seeper, Spark Create, Studio XO and WPP. I have helped make fashion garments with integrated technology for major pop stars, exhibition designs on the future of retail and even a waterless toilet for use in developing countries.
I am always on the lookout for new, interesting adventures and challenges, and work on many projects in my spare time to increase my learning.
