I am looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer to help develop a new wearable consumer product. The project involves designing a compact mechanical system that must fit inside a very small wearable housing.
The ideal engineer should have experience in:
Miniature mechanical mechanisms
Product design for injection molding
3D CAD design (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
Prototype development
Material selection for small precision parts
The initial phase of the project includes:
Reviewing the concept
Proposing mechanical solutions
Creating a 3D CAD model
Preparing files suitable for prototyping
Advising on manufacturing feasibility
Please provide examples of previous work involving compact mechanical devices, wearable products, precision mechanisms, or similar engineering projects.
