We are a steel fabrication company (hot-dip galvanized steel structures, North Macedonia) looking for an experienced Tekla Structures detailer for the roof structure of a football stadium in Kosovo.
THE STRUCTURE
- Cantilever roof canopies over 4 grandstands: 66 steel frames in 4 types
- Type 1 (15 pcs) and Type 2 (31 pcs): triangular lattice trusses, SHS chords and diagonals, HEB/HEA 360 columns, double-channel rear stays, bolted site splices
- Type 3 (7 pcs): lighter truss, SHS 100x100x5 chords, HEA 360 column
- Type 4 (13 pcs, East stand): portal frames, IPE 240 beam on HEA column
- C/S 160 cold-formed purlins (t = 5 mm), L 80x80x8 roof bracing, UPN 140 longitudinal ties
- Steel grade S275 J0, hot-dip galvanized to EN ISO 1461, bolts grade 8.8
- Estimated total weight: 165-175 t; roof slope ~10%
- Frames are anchored to existing reinforced-concrete stands, so geometry must follow the as-built survey
INPUT WE PROVIDE
- Disposition drawings (PDF/DWG) for all frame types + roof layout plan (attached)
- Bill of quantities with member quantities (attached, quantities only)
- Approved structural design / static calculation with final member sections and connection forces (by others; will be handed over at project start)
- Geodetic as-built survey of the existing concrete stands (South stand already surveyed, the remaining stands within days)
- Connection details per the approved structural design; open items resolved via RFI with the project engineer

5. Bolt lists (shop + site)
6. NC (DSTV) files for CNC cutting and drilling
7. One round of revisions after the engineer's review of each phase
PHASING
- Phase 1: the complete South grandstand with Type 1 frames ("MBAJTESI KAPRIATE - TIPI 1", 15 frames) - the entire grandstand including its purlins, roof bracing and longitudinal ties. The geodetic as-built survey of this grandstand is already completed, so work starts immediately after award and receipt of the structural design.
- Phases 2-4: remaining grandstands (Type 2, Type 3 and Type 4 / East) as their surveys are completed
- The structure is highly repetitive (4 typical frames), so efficient use of Tekla components is expected

- Lump-sum price for the complete scope + unit rate (EUR/t) for additions or changes
- Timeline per phase (working weeks)
- Tekla Structures version you work in
- 2-3 samples of similar canopy / truss / stadium steel detailing
