About the job
We are a commercial millwork and furniture restoration shop in Oklahoma City (The Restoration Station). We build architectural millwork and commercial seating for restaurants, hotels, healthcare, and other commercial clients, and we cut parts on our in-house CNC.
We're looking for an experienced CNC programmer and shop drawing reviewer to work with us on an ongoing basis.
What you'll do:
- Review architectural drawings for millwork and commercial seating, and turn them into shop drawings that are accurate, submittable for approval, and producible on our CNC.
- Check every shop drawing for accuracy, dimensions, geometry, and consistency before it goes out for approval or to the shop floor.
- Flag missing details, discrepancies, and anything that won't build the way it's drawn, and communicate it clearly so it gets resolved before production.
- Program approved designs into accurate, production-ready CNC files using AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, eCabinet Systems, or comparable CAD/CAM software.
- Handle complex layouts and curved or radiused parts, including commercial seating with multiple radii, upholstery frames, and curved components.
- Track drawing revisions through the programming process and keep files organized.
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrated experience reviewing shop drawings and programming CNC equipment for millwork, cabinetry, furniture, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, eCabinet Systems, or similar CAD/CAM software.

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, eCabinet Systems, or similar CAD/CAM software.
- Strong attention to detail — you catch small errors before they become production problems.
- Confidence reading dimensions and complex shapes, and clear, organized communication.
- Experience with commercial seating, upholstery frames, curved components, or other radius work is a strong plus.
To apply, include a brief summary of your experience, the software you've used, and the types of projects you've programmed. Please be prepared to share examples of work you've completed and professional references — you may remove or obscure confidential client or employer information. Candidates who move forward will complete a short practical skills assessment: reviewing a shop drawing for errors or missing information and completing a related CAD/CAM programming task.
Duration & what's next:
This starts as one trial project on a real set of drawings. Once the trial project is complete, ongoing work is possible and the job length and duration would be set at that point based on workload and fit. Our goal is to find someone we can keep working with long-term, but the trial comes first so both sides can be sure the work is accurate, submittable, and cuts clean.
