About the job
Phase 1: Technical Verification (The "Handshake")
Before the final design tweaks are applied, the freelancer must demonstrate or provide the technical workflow to successfully convert the current 10-inch mesh into a Digital Twin compatible with Substance 3D Painter.
Requirements for the Paint File:
Low-Poly FBX: A optimized version of the mesh (approx. 100k–150k vertices).
UV Mapping: A clean, non-overlapping UV Unwrap (0.03 island margin).
Material ID: A single assigned material named "Lure_Skin".
Success Criteria: The freelancer must verify that this FBX opens in Substance 3D Painter with visible UV coordinates and no errors.
Phase 2: Final Structural Modifications (The Physical Mold)
Once the digital workflow is confirmed, the following edits must be applied to the master CAD file to ensure the 3D-printed mold blank is production-ready:
Tail & Body Refinement: Finalize the paddle tail geometry and body smoothing as per provided notes to ensure correct displacement for large Esox.
Internal Keel Integration: Integrate a cylindrical "negative space" (divot) into the belly of the mold blank to facilitate the Internal Keel hook eye.
Note: Specific Diameter, Depth, and Distance-from-nose measurements will be provided once the physical keel and mold blank are cross-referenced.
Final Deliverables:
Manufacturing: High-resolution STP and OBJ files of the modified mold blank for 3D printing.
Digital: The verified FBX for the Substance 3D Painter "D...

Digital: The verified FBX for the Substance 3D Painter "Digital Twin."
The $20.00 Bonus will be released upon successful verification of the Substance 3D Painter import and the inclusion of the keel divot in the final CAD.
