About the job
Budget: $250 - $300 CAD (Fixed Price) Location: Canada Preferred (International accepted IF you accept CAD currency) Timeline: Ship within 7 Days
Project Overview: We are Forageform Lures. We require an expert resin printing professional (SLA/DLP/MSLA) to produce a single, high-detail master pattern for our "Flatnose Fin Swimbait." Critical Use Case: This master will be used immediately to create high-volume silicone injection molds (Tin and Platinum cure).
The Mandate: Zero Post-Prep Required I am buying a "Ready-to-Mold" master. I require a truly seamless process that delivers a final, high-gloss pattern. When I open the box, I must be able to pour silicone over it immediately.
If I have to sand, polish, or prime the part myself, the job is considered failed.
Technical Specifications:
Input: I will provide high-resolution STL/OBJ files.
Material: You must use a high-detail, heat-resistant resin compatible with silicone molding.
Layer Height: Maximum 50 microns (0.05mm). 25-30 microns preferred.
Structure: If hollowing is required for printability, drain holes must be placed in non-critical areas (hook slots) and the interior must be 100% fully cured to prevent uncured resin from leaking or off-gassing, which destroys silicone.
Scope of Work (The Non-Negotiables):
Orientation Analysis: Orient the part to minimize support scarring on critical detail areas (scales, gill plates, eyes).
Printing & Curing: Print and fully UV post-cure the part to...

Scope of Work (The Non-Negotiables):
Orientation Analysis: Orient the part to minimize support scarring on critical detail areas (scales, gill plates, eyes).
Printing & Curing: Print and fully UV post-cure the part to ensure dimensional accuracy and chemical inertness.
Surface Finishing (The Hard Part):
Remove all supports.
Sand and Wet-Sand the surface (progressing to high grits) to remove ALL layer lines and support dimples.
Polish to a "Class A" high-gloss finish.
Optional but Recommended: Apply a thin, high-grade surfacing primer/clear coat to seal the resin against cure inhibition.
The "Forageform Standard": We aim for the surface fidelity seen in top European brands like Savage Gear and Eastfield Lures. We are not interested in "raw" prints. We need a master blank that mirrors that level of perfection.
Communication & Currency:
Currency: Payment is in Canadian Dollars (CAD) only. Do not apply if you expect USD conversion rates.
Communication: I require constant updates. If I ask a question, I expect a complete, detailed answer—not a one-word reply. Delays in communication will result in contract cancellation.
To Apply: Please answer the following to prove you are the right fit:
What specific resin and primer/clear coat do you use to guarantee silicone compatibility?
Describe your sanding/polishing workflow (e.g., "I sand up to 3000 grit then use polishing compound").
Shipping: Can you ship to [Your City/Province], Canada within the timeline?
Refrence images will be provided uppon acceptance.
