About the job
We are looking for an experienced mechanical/product designer to develop conceptual designs for clamps and gripping parts for telescopic square tubes. The main goal is to secure the inner sliding tube without marking or damaging it, while ensuring adjustability, stability, and ease of assembly.
Requirements:
• Strong experience in mechanical design and product concept development.
• Ability to provide 2D technical drawings and functional sketches for fabrication.
• Optional: experience with prototyping and/or FEA for load validation.
• 3D CAD modeling is not required, but a simple conceptual model can be a plus.
Deliverables:
• Conceptual designs and sketches.
• 2D drawings with key dimensions and tolerances.
• Recommendations for materials and fastening methods.
• Optional: prototype-ready design guidance for testing.
