We’re Voyage (voyage.inc), building a non-invasive silent-speech wearable in Shenzhen. Looking for a mechanical / structural design engineer who can own enclosure CAD, DFM with local vendors, and work IRL at our studio.
Scope for first engagement (paid sprint, start this week if possible):
Enclosure / structural CAD for a head-worn / face-worn wearable (stack-up, clearances, fasteners, materials)
DFM for Shenzhen injection mold / prototype vendors
2D drawings, tolerance notes, BOM-ready structure package
Iterate with ID/EE on-site; short feedback loops preferred
Must-haves:
Extremely proficient in SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or Fusion 360 (name your primary)
Strong mechanical physics intuition (structures, tolerance stack, materials, kinematics / thermal as relevant)
Based in Shenzhen / GBA and able to come to our studio regularly
Prior consumer electronics, TWS/wearables, medical handheld, AR/VR headset, or similar product structure work
Nice-to-haves:
Mold follow-up / tooling review
English OK for briefings (Chinese fine day-to-day)
