Project Overview
I am looking for an experienced mechanical CAD designer to develop a complete chaff cutter machine design for an undergraduate engineering project in Nigeria.
The goal is to produce a detailed 3D model and technical drawings that can be used to understand the machine's construction and support its fabrication by a local workshop.
Scope of Work and Deliverables
The selected designer will be expected to provide:
1. Complete 3D CAD assembly: A detailed 3D model of the assembled chaff cutter machine.
2. 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings: Dimensioned technical drawings of the complete machine.
3. Individual component drawings: Detailed drawings of the major components, including the frame, hopper, cutting chamber, shaft, blade assembly, and other relevant parts.
4. Bill of Materials (BOM): A list of the required materials and components.
5. Exploded assembly view: An exploded view showing the major components and how they fit together.
Important Notes
Engineering calculations for shaft design, power requirements, belt and pulley selection, and material selection are excluded from this project.
The design should be practical and suitable for fabrication using materials and components that can be sourced in Nigeria.
The designer should recommend suitable CAD file formats and provide editable source files alongside the final drawings.
