I am a jewelry business owner based in Fes, Morocco, specializing in 18K gold jewelry, including traditional Moroccan Beldi jewelry, bracelets, bangles, rings, pendants, and intricate ornamental designs.
I am looking for a skilled and experienced Jewelry CAD Designer for ongoing collaboration.
Scope of work:
* Create accurate 3D jewelry models based on photos, sketches, reference models, or existing designs provided by me.
* Reproduce the original design as faithfully as possible, respecting proportions, symmetry, curves, and fine details.
* Modify and improve existing designs when requested.
* Ensure the models are technically suitable for 3D printing in castable resin and lost-wax casting in 18K gold.
* Consider appropriate wall thicknesses, structural strength, stone settings, and casting requirements.
Required skills:
* Professional experience in jewelry CAD design.
* Strong knowledge of MatrixGold and/or Rhinoceros 3D (Rhino).
* Experience with traditional and intricate jewelry designs is a plus.
* Understanding of jewelry manufacturing, resin printing, and gold casting.
Required deliverables for each project:
1. Editable source file in .3DM format.
2. Watertight, print-ready STL file.
