About the job
I am a University of Michigan sophomore, working on a project. I have a concept for an insulated, dual-compartment drink bottle with a full-length internal straw (Owala-style) that stays split into two channels the entire way down. At the top, a twist-to-adjust rotary valve controls the mix ratio between the two liquids, turning the lid shifts more of one liquid through and less of the other, with an even 50/50 point in the middle.
I have a complete design document (attached PDF) covering the mechanism, materials, parts list, starting dimensions, and assembly sequence, along with a few flagged open questions (mainly the size transition between the straw and the valve plates, and tuning the rotation stop). I'm looking for a CAD designer to turn this into real, manufacturable CAD files, resolving those open questions with sound engineering judgment, so I can take it to a prototyping service (like Protolabs) for a first physical build.
