Scope of Work:
-Create, modify, and validate detailed parametric CAD models in FreeCAD to specified project requirements.
-Develop and optimize mechanical assemblies, leveraging best practices in assembly design and component integration.
-Apply rigorous Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure manufacturability and quality.
-Generate clear, precise technical drawings and documentation for engineering review and downstream processes.
-Conduct thorough engineering QA reviews of CAD models and drawings to identify, communicate, and help resolve issues.
-Utilize Python scripting for CAD automation tasks, streamlining repetitive or complex modeling operations (highly preferred, not mandatory).
-Collaborate by providing insightful feedback on model accuracy, design intent, and process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, product design, or industrial engineering or any other related field with a focus on parametric CAD modeling.
