Role Title: Manufacturing Design Engineer

Scope of Work:
-Create and modify detailed parametric 3D CAD models of mechanical parts and assemblies using FreeCAD or comparable software.
-Develop comprehensive engineering drawings, including GD&T and tolerance stack-ups, suitable for manufacturing handoff.
-Design for a variety of manufacturing processes, such as sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, plastics, and injection molding.
-Perform CAD validation and quality assurance reviews to ensure model accuracy and readiness for production use.
-Prepare clear, concise technical documentation and assembly instructions as reference materials for AI model training.
-Incorporate feedback from technical reviewers to revise and improve CAD models and supporting documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years’ experience designing mechanical components for manufacturing environments.
-Expertise in FreeCAD or similar parametric CAD software for advanced modeling, assemblies, and drawing generation.
-Hands-on exposure to sheet metal, CNC, plastics, and injection molding design considerations.
-Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) best practices.
