Certified SolidWorks Expert (CSWE) with 17 years in mechanical design — 10 of them on tracked and wheeled heavy machinery: large fabricated weldments, hydraulic systems and articulated attachments. What I deliver: release-ready production drawings to BS 8888 with applied GD&T, structured BOMs, supplier and fabrication packages, sheet metal and weldment detailing, and large assembly management. Something most CAD freelancers can't offer: I take engineering data through to interactive deliverables. I converted a production machine into a fully articulated Unreal Engine operator training simulator, including a 3D-printed physical controller driving it live. If your project needs CAD turned into something a customer can see, handle or be trained on, that's my ground. 80+ independent projects delivered remotely for clients across the UK, Europe and the USA since 2017. I work to defined deliverables and fixed scope, not open-ended hours. Available for: detail design and drawing packages · reverse engineering and legacy CAD recovery · overflow detailing capacity · DFM and supplier documentation · technical visualisation and digital twins. Happy to start with a small paid trial piece.

Mechanical Engineer and Senior Mechanical CAD Designer with 12+ years of experience in industrial machinery, equipment design, parametric modeling, and manufacturing documentation. I specialize in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, developing robust 3D models, complex assemblies, sheet-metal components, fabrication drawings, and production-ready drawing sets for industrial equipment and mechanical systems. My strongest Autodesk Inventor capabilities include Part and Assembly Modeling, Sheet Metal, Frame Generator, iLogic, Model States, and Content Center. I also develop parameter-driven models and automate repetitive engineering and drafting tasks using iLogic and CAD scripting. My experience includes machinery and equipment for bulk-material handling, industrial processing, storage tanks, piping systems, structural frames, platforms, conveyors, bucket elevators, silos, hoppers, sheet-metal components, and fabricated assemblies. I work with manufacturing requirements in mind. My background includes sheet-metal fabrication, fabrication drawings, welding documentation, nesting and DXF preparation, BOMs, laser-cutting files, assembly drawings, and detailed manufacturing documentation. I am familiar with ASME Y14.5, ISO drafting practices, and AWS/ISO welding symbols. In my current role as Engineering Drafting Manager, I lead and train a team of junior and intermediate drafters while managing CAD standards, reusable model libraries, templates, automation, and drawing quality. Structural steel detailer with over 10 years of hands-on experience — gained inside steel fabrication companies, not in a design office. Industrial plants, warehouses, and architectural steel structures. WHAT I DELIVER - 3D steel modelling in Tekla Structures - Shop drawings, assembly and single-part drawings - Erection drawings and complete fabrication packages - CNC-ready output — DXF / DWG / PDF and NC files - Material take-offs and bills of material - Reading and cross-referencing architectural and structural drawings - Coordination with the shop floor throughout fabrication WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT I build my own Tekla Structures plugins in C# using the Tekla Open API to automate drawing production and repetitive detailing tasks. On large or repetitive packages this cuts production time significantly and removes the human errors that come with manual repetition. WHY FABRICATORS WORK WITH ME Ten years on the fabrication side means tolerances, weld access, handling and erection sequence are considered while modelling — not discovered later in the shop. Based in Israel — working hours overlap with Europe and US East Coast. Hebrew, English, Russian. Registered business, proper invoicing.
