30+ years of experience in detail design and engineering of onshore / offshore Piping layouts, equipment and Pipeline for Oil & Gas Plants, Chemical plants, Refinery and Petrochemical plants, for various EPC, Proposal, Feed and PMC projects. Independently handled 3D model review for Clients, other discipline and internal. Vendor drawing review & comment. Co-ordinating between other department like Process, Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation. 3D modelling activity using PDMS, E3D / SP3D, S3D, PDS, Clash checking / resolving. Work allocation to area Designer, manpower allocation for area designers. Preparation of Piping Study, Plot Plan, Tie-in schedule, details & Isometrics. Preparation and checking of MTOs large volume of P & IDs (more than 500 Nos.). Attending Project review / progress meetings. Optimisation for Value Engineering for EPC Project (Cost reduction considering even the value of 1$). Have thorough understanding of international standards API, ASME, ASTM, and company specifications of Maersk oil, Shell, Exxon Mobil, KOC, EIL, Qatar Petroleum, ADNOC, BP, Aramco, Petronas, Technip, and Foster Wheeler. Supported the construction team on maximizing the productivity through frequent site visits & prioritising resolving site queries remotely. Working knowledge of Piping stress analysis input entry using CAESAR II for Plant Piping. Excellent working knowledge of Pipeline activities, alignment drawings, route selection, crossing details, typical details drawings etc., having successfully completed 5 projects. Excellent working knowledge of HSE activities, Fire Hydrant layout, Sprinkler and Foam system layouts. Working knowledge of HVAC Duct & Cable Tray routing activities. Successfully completed many project / proposal deliverables within budgeted man-hours for AutoCAD / PDMS and PDS projects. Successfully working from home (WFH) to support many Proposal and Project works. Organised MS Team review meetings for Total-client, Tilenga CPF-Uganda project, ADNOC-project lightning Abu Dhabi proposal (Onshore/Offshore) Raiser platform from Offshore to Onshore, plot plan review for inter disciplines. Worked on MTO, Piping interconnecting layouts, document reviews, comment and digital signatures. Working on Brown field Isometric checking and digital signatures for Thai oil “Clean Fuel Project, Sriracha, Thailand”, Isometric issued more than 1million inch dia. • Managing Piping activities in allotted man-hours and schedule with quality requirements. • Developing Plot Plans, Plot Plan optimization. • Preparation / Checking of material take-off (MTO), Bill of Quantity (BOQ) from P & IDs / detailed drawings / Tender documents. • Work allocation/Planning/Guidance to area Designers. • 3D Model review & comments. • Organizing / Attending 3D Model Review / Progress Meetings. • Preparation for Tie-in details, schedules, sketches & Isometrics. • IDC documents Generation / Checking. • Preparation for Piping study drawings. • Checking of above deliverable documents with related standards & codes. • Coordinate design information with other disciplines in the development of complete drawing package. • Perform department planning tasks such as manpower forecasting, work assignments, Proposals and Developed Engineering standards & Guidelines. • Assist Department Supervisor / Engineer in providing directions to Design team. • Review and check design drawings and vendor drawings. • Interacting with Clients, Vendors and providing technical support to site construction groups/team. • Developing Piping Layouts, Equipment Layouts using PDMS / PDS. • Developing detailed design engineering drawings using information from various sources which may include Piping Site studies, vendor drawings, catalog data, engineering sketches, Reference drawings and input from other disciplines. • Conduct field investigations, produce clear field reports with detailed sketches, written and verbal instructions. • Basic Design to Detailed Engineering of Piping and Prepare As-Built drawings. • Perform project related tasks such as scope development, Estimating, Scheduling and job status. • Knowledge of the International codes (i.e., API, ASTM, ANSI, codes), Practices and standards especially relating to Oil & Gas Industry (i.e., ADCO, MAERSK, ARAMCO, QP Design & Engineering practices). • Pipeline Alignments Drawing, Checking / Preparation. • Pipeline Route maps / Typical Pipeline installation drawing, Alignment drawings checking / Preparation. • Can work and perform under critical schedules.
