I started out working hands-on in workshops and on site, manufacturing and installing furniture and staircases. Over time, I moved more into technical design and CAD work, creating drawings and production documents for custom projects. Because of my practical background, I usually look at a drawing from a manufacturing point of view as well. I think about how a part can actually be built, assembled and installed, not only how it looks on screen.
