Please see these payment terms for contests and projects:
- Contests: The winning entry for prepaid contests is usually paid out in 2-weeks if one or more of the design entries meet the client accuracy guarantee.
- Payment pending: Clients have the option to launch a contest as guaranteed (prepaid) or payment pending. Learn more about how prepaid and payment pending contests are different.
- Private projects/1-to-1 projects: We securely hold client funds and the designer payment is processed if the design work meets the client accuracy guarantee.
- Project cancelation: The client may cancel a prepaid project in the first 24-hours with a 20% cancelation fee.
- Client refunds: A client will be entitled to a refund if the project design requirements were not met based on the initial scope of the design project.
