Description:
Double Sided Aluminum Clamp.Need redesign of part to make it easier to manufacture on CNC mill. Currently, the easiest method is waterjetting the clamping profile before finishing on the CNC mill. We would like to make the manufacturing easier and all in one MILL.
Wants:
Easier to machine and still looks aesthetically pleasing, and retains full functionality.
Don't Wants:
A block with holes.
Software:
- SolidWorks (1)

Could you please tell me why you cant manufacture this design in CNC mill completely? What is the diameter of the smallest tool you can use in your CNC mill machine ?
What level of manufacturing is available? Three axis manual -- CNC jobcenter? What kind of clamping force? What alloy of AL?
Hello Blake,
Do we copy exact positions and dimensions of holes?

The material is Aluminum.
BlakeHR,
I know you specified Solidworks, but any reason I couldn't do the work in AutoCAD 2014 3D?
Thanks, Aaron

J-shape
3D modeling of a J-shaped massage tool, much like a Theracane only smaller in dimensions. The tool should be modeled as close as possible to the attached images. The straight portion of the J-shape is approximately 10 inches long and 3/8in in diameter. The hook portion of the tool should form an approximately 180 degree arc and terminate in spherical end of 9/16in diameter. The handle, at the top of the J-shape, should be approximately 3/4in in diameter. The attached jpg images are of the actual tool that I would like modeled and should give you a good idea of it's dimensions. The png file should also provide a good reference. Thanks.
Outdoor TV Enclosure
Design an outdoor TV Enclosure for 32" flat screen TV to be used outdoor such as backyard, pool, or cafeteria.
- Inside the enclosure will hold flat screen TV with dimension of 30" x 18" x 2" (W x H x D). Dept can be extended if needed.
- TV must be safely secure inside the enclosure when not attach to the VESA Wall mount
- Must be able to mount with VESA Wall mount standard of 200mm x 200mm
- Water resistant but does not need to be completely waterproofed
- Have a cooling system, either ventilation for airflow (Fans) or cool down liquid (Freon)
- A sound bar will be located in the bottom of the enclosure
- Would be nice if the enclosure has feet that can be pushed in or pulled out when place on the ground to keep it balance.
Waterproof Air monitor for drones
Hi,
We need a waterproof air monitor for our drones, which has enough airflow to detect particulates, gasses and other pollutants. And has no water ingress.
The enclosure needs to be made from plasics, ABS of PLA, and there has to be an atenna for a LoRa module an arduino and batteries. The sensors will be placed directly onto the arduino.

A complex helix for visualising a pedagogic hypothesis
The spiral of learning (Kolb & Kolb) is a simple helix visualising the learner's progress. I need to visualise a more complex spiral. Turns on this helix are circular. Each turn represents an interaction between teacher and learner. This helix contains 1 grand turn. A grand turn contains at least 3 smaller turns. This creates a turn complex. Each turn achieves a small or large rise on the z axis depending on the diameter of the turns on the x and y axes. In elevation view the turn complex should have a stepped appearance due to the presence of the smaller turns, with the lowest steps at left and the highest at right. The idea to be communicated is that the larger turns contain at least 3-5 smaller turns. Each turn achieves a small increase in z-height as the learner exits the turn, like freeway traffic using a cloverleaf junction. Multiple interactive turns aggregate to a large gain in z-height. In the attached illustration, the largest loop should be understood as not a part of the visualisation. I would like to see two variations of the design:
(1) smaller turns ranged on outside of grand turn diameter
(2) smaller turns ranged on inside of grand turn diameter.
