Description:
Many working professionals are using laptops on a day-to-day basis. Laptops however, are not ergonomically designed to promote good posture and typically it results in back and shoulder problems for those that use it. Health professionals recommend that the screen of a laptop be at "high-five" level - being at eye level that your shoulders are relaxed backwards and you are not hunching over the screen. This is the best posture for you to be in while working on a laptop. Currently, there are no innovative new ideas for creating a highly mobile and cost-effective product which can solve this problem. I am looking for a design which can encompass designs from nature to raise a normal laptop to a point where a user can work on it while holding the best posture.
Wants:
The design needs to meet the following criteria:1. Portable and light - as many professionals travel with laptops it needs to be able to fit into a bag very easily (and could potentially even be the bag)
2. Made of cost effective material - we are not looking for carbon fibre type material!
3. Simple - the product needs to be simple and stylish at the same time and be able to be used in boardrooms or meetings as easily as setting up ones laptop
Don't Wants:
A product that is chunky or difficult to carry around. The target audience is accountants and consultants - they travel to and from clients so it needs to be easily assembled and very quick to set up

HI guys
Thanks again for entering this contest. I really appreciate the designs and I think all of them were good. Just a few things from my side;
1. I was hoping that I could get something that was very light and easy to use. I chose
as the best one as it could easily be transformed into my needs, I liked the general feel and design while the others appeared to be quite standard type of designs.
2. It needed not to be "clunky" and some of you went the big route building elaborate designs that required wood or other specifics.
3. For those interested, please keep a lookout as we will be releasing more design needs in the near future.

1) Tilt adjustment, up to 45 degrees.
2) height adjustment needs to be at high level for a typical laptop user
3) Can be carbon fibre + aluminium however, this is pretty costly. (see www.theroost.com)
4) Software is fine.

HI all, Apologies for being a bit lax on the communication side of things. Just to clear up some of the comments:
1. After doing some initial researching myself, I'm looking for more of a bag which doubles up as a laptop stand
2. The dimensions are of a typical Lenova T420,T430,T440 laptop. Width 13.5 inches Depth 9.1 inches Height 1 inch
3. Tom8: Yes, it needs to be able to be used in trains, airplanes etc. So slightly challenging one.
4. Abbasi: Let me know if the above still stands for your design and whether you would like to upload your design.

Hi there, I have a very simple project. I need to produce still photos of flying currency. I will provide flat photos of currency and I need them mapped to models of bills fluttering in the wind. I need about 15 TIFFS produced in high res. You would have to model very simple forms, add the currency/money texture then render.
