Description:
I need a prototype for some sports goggles designed. The dimensions of the lenses need to be at least the size of the type of glasses uploaded but the plastic frame should surround the entire lense, not just be along the top, and the arms should have the bend at the end for the ears like regular glasses. The important part here is that the height and width allow for a full range of vision, but the lenses cannot be too curved as they will need to allow for prescriptions (lenses that are too curved limit the range of prescriptions compatible).

It also needs soft rubber or foam-style padding along the top and bottom of the inside of the frame rims, for protection during sports.

All going well with this first sample, I will also want more concepts of this design as well as more products with similar designs.

Of note, the 3-5mm is thickness of the frames and the bridge width is usually around 12-15mm on average, variable depending on the customer.

If you need something specific to work with go with the following:

Lens height - 50mm
Lens width - 75mm each eye
Nose bridge - 15mm total (from lens edge to lens edge)
Frame - variable for aesthetics, with 2-3mm majority throughout and 4mm maximum thickest
Ear arms - 100mm straight before bending, then 40mm maximum for the part around the ear (including the bend)

Hope that helps

Hey guys,
Sorry for the delay in responding, new to Cad Crowd.

I don't have any set dimensions at the moment, but the rough estimate on lens sizes that I am working with is approximately 45-50mm height at the peak and 70-80mm wide at the widest point, with the frames surrounding those lenses as required (I would expect around 3-5mm depending on the requirements of the padding).

Ear arms standard size.

Concept pictures to start, and then full modelling with sizes for a product to be created by a rapid prototyping company.

dimensions please? or maybe a rough draft of a basis we can follow.

Thank you

Final image will need to be a soft white 3d model exported in high res png with transparent background. Additionally we would like to try options with a textured rose. Brick of Money
The goal of this project is to design a desk ornament that is a conversation piece. https://goo.gl/wc3ueb There are 3 aspects to this product: 1: The foundation: A rectangle of solid metal. Should have an expensive high end look. A bar of silver is the only thing I can think of as an example foundation. https://goo.gl/wMySnL However, I am going for more of a brushed nickel look. 2: The casing that sits on top of the medal foundation. This casing is either made of glass or plastic and will be glued to the medal foundation. 3. $500 in one dollar bills will be inside the glass casing. The attached image is not high end looking but should give you a basic idea of the kind of product we are looking to develop.
Intricate Wings Design
- Small wings design based on a 2D picture provided - Each wing to be separate with a little loop at the top so as to have a necklace looped through the top - Must be able to be 3D printed - Jewellery will be made from a white metal which will be 3D printed (by Shapeways.com) - Design end product must have the layers so as to depict the image as set out by the 2D file provided

HIRING MULTIPLE FORMZ DESIGNERS FOR ASAP
I need you to render me 3 objects from pictures I will send to you if you accept. However here is the criteria I will need you to follow when rendering each object; A dimensioned drawings of two of following views - top, front, left, right, back, bottom, plus one section view . Drawings should be at 1:20 scale and show signifcant dimensions. (at 1:20 scale a 4m x 6m structure will comfortably ft on an A3 page). You can adjust the scale if you need to, but make a note of this. You should use screen grabs, hand drawn support sketches and computer renders to illustrate at least 10 significant steps in the sequence from research to realisation.
