#12 Camera Slide
by tsalpha
3ft long camera slide with removable ends. Stabilizing arms fold in, out of the way, and are held in place with set screw knobs. Carriage side has following arms underneath the aluminum rods, to keep carriage from falling of the base. All hardware, screws, bolts, bearing, etc. have been source at McMaster Carr, pdf file includes quantity, part numbers, and price. I will include pdf file after contest ends, along with several different file formats to import into different CAD programs.

#2 Camera rails
by Catalin
It is the cheapest design to make....an it will last forever....the pnly thing you need to work on is the feets and the plate of the camera in case you don't have it already. Other types can be made.....but i've used this type and it will glide smoth and even if you hit the camera by mistake it will not jump of the rails. Good luck with the contest. Best regard

@Jiri: What is the approximate weight of the camera that is going to be installed on the slider?
yes, i know i,ve uploaded to many designs..i should add more images in the same upload, i've revised this , but some of them i've put them separately because of the buyer request
I think IM3D should choose the best design product for submitting
Ohhh and by the way....IM3D...you have entered 4 challenges so far....and you have polluted all four of them....stop submitting so many design....cause to they all look the same...
I used 604 bearings for my design.
Good luck on your contest!!
Good luck on your contest!!
The bearings are the industrial standard "608" size, with a bore of 8 mm, an outer diameter of 22 mm, and a width of 7 mm
what do you mean by " Bearing- 608 or smaller. " 608 came from what ? give a diameter or some dimensions for that ! :)
I'm wondering about your comment "bearing - 608 or smaller" would that be an o.d. of .608" or smaller? or is that a part number?
This is example. But we can do something very similar. The size of the base plate is 7x4x0.0164 inch. I will ad some more images.
ok. this is what i needed ! :) ( P.S. do you want EXACTLY the model in the image or is just for example. if can give mode dimensions, in special for the board where you mount the camera, distance between holes, diameters, thickness, etc. something that would help me more if what i ask isn't to much ) :). keep in touch sooner to star working on it !
No idea:-) this is my first project. Only what i now is that we will do the prototype on
CNC machine.
CNC machine.
what format will be the file? ( eg: dwg, stl, iges, etc). for what do you need the design ( 3D print, others)

Plastics Engineer Needed
I am working out a proof of concept for a marine habitat and need an expert who understand techniques of pvc/vinyl or other plastic joinery, using specific glues and (initially) existing extruded shapes. I will provide sketches and my ideas. The plastics engineer will provide feedback and (later on) CAD.
