Description:
I have a vacant lot that we are planning to launch as a food truck park. I need design ideas for the layout of the food trucks (6 to 8 trucks), utilizing the best method for getting trucks in and out of the property each day. Each truck needs to have a pad for parking with electric service. The design will need a covered outdoor seating area for the food truck park patrons. Picnic tables and sunblock structure with ceiling fans. Also, we need a small structure on the premises for a management office for the park (very small - one room), a small cabana style opening for a bar and two restrooms attached for guests. We'd like the perimeter of the food truck park to be enclosed with only one way in and out for guests and the food trucks. The design should also include parking, as there is no available street parking. Please draw to scale!!. The property does not have public sewer so a septic system will have to be installed. Please reserve 100 ft at the rear of the property for the drain field. Please send in PDF format
Wants:
Best use of space. Best aesthetic design for social gatherings and vendor profitability. Best mobility for the food trucks
Software:
  1. AutoCAD

Hello, I'm new to CAD Crowd and I haven't participated before, but I'm an Civil Engineering Technician/Senior Drafter and one of the things I do is site plans for permit, and this looked like fun. So I just wanted to let you know I'm working on a few different concept designs for you, hopefully I can turn in more than one? Also to let you know my concept designs can be turned into site plans for permit at a later time, with all the proper codes and setbacks met, etc. (I'm in Washington but can easily look up Bowie County.) Thanks, Tara

I have uploaded a few photos of the property. I'm not sure if they will be useful. Don't concern yourself with any trees or the electric poles on the property, those will be removed if necessary. I also included a photo of a standard food truck with dimensions.

Food trucks come in various sizes and styles. They can be anywhere from 12 to 34 feet long. Please design for the standard size of 10x20ft.

Hi, can you please specify the types of food trucks you will be using? Just a basic length and width dimensions would work. Or if you can provide more specific information about the manufacturing brand etc that would be better, thanks!

The property has been cleared. It's a vacant, clean lot. There are residences (homes) on each side of the property. They are shown on the survey.

New Olympic weight plate design for use with Olympic barbells
I require the design of a range of sizes of Olympic weight plates for Olympic barbells. The sizes are to be 2.5, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25kg. Made from cast iron, 7.2 density iron. The two side handles are to be 35mm diameter and for the 25kg weight the handles to be 180mm in length and less for the smaller weight plates so around 100-120mm for the 2.5kg. The hole in the centre needs to be exactly 50.8mm diameter. The main area in the central area is 25mm, and the 35mm area around the outer edge is 35mm depth. The colour is a satin/matte black. Each weight identification number and logo area needs to be raised/embossed by 3mm with no extra colour just the same black colour.

Original Sketches to DWG Re-Draft / Conversion (2 weeks)
Required is to convert original architectural sketches into layered DWG drawings. The unit of interest is the first unit from right to left and the work can be limited to re-drafting of plans and details only for this unit. Details from mid units must be used to overlay details for the unit of interest (as the original drafter provided greater details that apply for for all units only on the 2nd, 3rd of 4th units)

Hard-Hat Clipable Safety Notification System (#2)
We were very happy with the results from our first design concept competition so we decided to host another Cad Crowd competition but focus more on designing to a specific PCB and shape this time. We're looking for small, sleek, manufacurable, and aesthetic designs for a hard-hat clipable safety notification system for construction workers to improve their work safety. The device can sense dangers with internal electronics and alert the user real-time using light and sound notifications. The device will be clipped to the under-side of the hard-hat (see attached image "placement.png"). The device has LEDs along the curved portion of the PCB and two side-fire speakers to convey dangers to the user (see attached image "PCB.png"). There is a snap-dome push button on the right side of the PCB. Please design a fused rubber actuator for the snap-dome. Assembly: The front case will have 3mm screw bosses. The clip slides over the boss, next the PCB, then the back case, then a screw to hold it all together (see attached image "assembly.png") . The project will be pre-payed once there is 3 quality design entries (including CAD files).
