Description:
We want to redesign our UV LED mosquito trap, an outdoor product to be placed in tent, outdoor café, farms to reduce the damage by mosquito. It should be simple, solid, low priced, slim, good quality and fashionable- a mid-way between high-tech and disposable traps. We would like its housing to be partially transparent for the visibility of LED light. Also, we prefer the entry point for mosquito to be a maze design.

Type: Mosquito trap
Target Audience: All age groups
Competitors: enclosed in attachments
Design: Maze entry point, partially transparent body, UV LED light, PCB board, cotton stand to put cotton soaked in mosquito attractant liquid, 2AAA battery case
Material: Plastic

Any software is acceptable if STL format file can be provided

Any further questions, please feel free to comment.
Wants:
Fashionable simple design
Don't Wants:
Too bulky or big
Software:
  1. PTC Creo Parametric
  2. SolidWorks
Additional Information
Would like the entrance of trap to be 1/4 and body to be 3/4.

Hi Stella! No, we don't have a dimension requirement but we don't want it to be too bulky unnecessarily. Yes, we will be using the same size battery as the previous design (enclosed in attachments). For the funnel any type and dimension is fine depending on the design and for LED there is no size requirement, please feel free to be creative (please see attachment of PCB, battery case and LED for your reference). Yes, the maze/entry part as 1/4th of the overall trap. Thank you so much and looking forward to your design.

Hi ETEC, Is there a dimension requirement? I suppose you are using the same size battery? How about LED, funnel? Re 1/4 entrance trap - does that mean the maze screen part? Thank you!

Hi Gaurav! The trap should be reusable. So the machine can be disassembled and the cotton can be put in machine again.

Hi DesignAssigt! The liquid is not concentrated enough to kill them. Thus we want a design so that mosquito cannot go out once they get in.

Hi Etec, cotton soaked in mosquito attractant liquid need to re-soaked and put in machine after some period or is it one off job?

Hi DesignAssist! The liquid is an attractant to attract mosquito in and they cannot go out due to the maze design.

Hi Etec. Does the attractant liquid kill the mosquito or the fact that once they get in then they cannot get out? Can we offer other solutions?

Setra Nano Design Options
There is an attached image of a new product concept, which is essentially a wall-mounted sensor that shows a light ring indicator of red or green. The product is designed to cover a single-gang US electrical wall box, similar in size to a wall switch. Once wall-mounted, it stands off the wall about 10 mm, where the light ring can be visible from front or side. We want some industrial design options to look at that are different from our design.
Biological Cell Cluster
I am looking to obtain a 3D CAD model of a biological cell cluster in order to transfer it to a multiphysics simulation software (COMSOL). The cluster will consist of 120 'cells' in the shape of a hyper-dodecahedron (https://theory.org/geotopo/120-cell/ ). Each side of each dodecahedron must measure ~5um.
Quick/Easy 3D Rendering / Photoshop project for high-end home audio company's new product!
I would like to work with someone who can take my product images (high resolution JPEG images) and add/modify them to reflect a new version of our product. The deliverables will be high resolution JPEGs (modified versions of the ones that I submit for this project). Our product, "LIO," is a home audio product (see: www.vinnierossi.com). Currently, the aluminum top panel (top cover) is has no holes. We are developing a new vacuum tube preamplifer stage in LIO and there will be two vacuum tubes that plug into two sockets directly below the two holes added on the top panel. I need new renderings that show these tubes: - Front views - Angled views The vacuum tubes need to be show in correct proportion and must look as realistic as possible, even glowing (so it looks like this is still a product photo). The ideal candidate for this product will be well versed in: - Photoshop - Solidworks - AutoCAD - Any other software that can get the job done. I will supply the product photos and examples of what the vacuum tubes look like, and where they are to be located on the top panel. Once the rendering is completed for the front and angle view, then they can be used for all the different variations of the same product (with different front/side panel, top panel, and knob color). Thank you, Vinnie
UAV Reaper Drone
Need complete design for Reaper Drone in solid Works for each part of the stucture (Fuselage+ wings+ wheels) no need for engine and inside equipements, and i don't need rocket design and no need also for 2D drafting
Universal Phone Mount
Hi Cad Crowd! We're in need of adjusting one of the components of our product. We have an existing 3D model that we need adjusted. We are keeping the same top and bottom connection the same. The basic design is similar to a standard universal phone mount for a car. We want to use the same mechanism as shown in the pictures and then adjust it to our requirements. The system will be 3 major components. Part 1: Back piece that has top connection and bottom connection which won't be changed much except for the width. This area will be where the gears/spring/everything sits on. Part 2: This will be the two "wing walls" that extrude left and right that will be sat on the back plate area. Part 3: Will enclose this area and have a bottom stub where the phones sit. We play on adding some little foam on the front of part 3 and on the insides of the wing walls. We think that the gear mechanism can be reduced in size and that we can flip it so that they sit above the wing walls (and in the center of the system).
