#10 Peell Activity Tracker Design
by Anders - FatFox3D
Two important things I know from sport watches/activity trackers:
1) They must be "breathable", or at least not be one solid piece of rubber since heat will accumulate.
2) The screen is small, so the space must be used in the best possible way. In my opinion those slim rectangular watch faces are too small. Also round watch faces make very bad use of the space.
Anyway, keywords for my design are usefulness (it is an activity-tracker, not an accessory after all), simplicity (nothing too controversial – wide appeal, will fit many people and their outfits. I should note that it looks gorgeous in black as well, which is a bit more controversial and appealing to more people) and good materials which support both previous keywords; good materials look and feel good. Also, I could have gone and made a curved screen, made it unrealistically thin, but I know that there is nothing worse than having a pretty design that cannot be manufactured, or a fancy mechanism that does not work in real life.
Also, the model is as good as 3D-printable, should you choose to do that.
While the format currently is Blender, that can quickly be changed – I just wanted to know what you wanted first.
Feel free to ask questions :)

There will not be a winner on this one.
Hi,
I'm new to this community. May I know usually how long it take to announce the winner??

@ Hari
I don't think so. I think in this case the buyer itself has backed out.

If I am correct, in a payment pending contest, the buyer won't be able to view the entries. One has to prepay so as to view and rate the entries.
Deleted by the buyer? Maybe he got what he wanted for free or he was not impressed with the entries!
This contest is not displayed in the list of finished contests!
Look s like another contest that will come to nothing! At least it keeps the juices flowing and earns us a few more points on the way.
Is this contest still open?
HI Ale
I think , the contest will attract more designers if it gets prepaid.

ATG's Automotive Concepts 2016 - 2
Amani Technology Group, LLC (ATG) is an automobile company that designs and produces luxury electric vehicles.
ATG will be having a second design contest that will be related to the conceptual phase of two luxury electric vehicles that will be futuristic and will use 100% electrical power. This contest is a follow-up to the posting displayed on April 5, 2016.
The company will need sketches to be displayed in computer aided design (CAD) and graphics software. The sketches or perspective views will show the vehicle's exterior (car's body) and interior (seating and dashboard).
The designers from the first contest will be offered a second chance to develop their ideas. The two concepts in the design contest will be the:
1.) Amani Universe: This will be a luxury 4-door sedan with classic futuristic features.
2.) Amani Express: This will be a luxury coupe that will be the 2-door version of the Amani Universe.
The renderings submitted will be used to help with presenting the concepts to potential customers in the luxury automobile market. The interior of the concepts should be included in the sketches and renderings. We will need to view the features that will make the vehicles a classic luxury brand.
We will request that the designers include all dimensions of the exterior of the vehicles. These dimensions should be indicated on the orthogonal views (front, top, left side, and rear views). The perspective views submitted with the entries should show the classic features of the vehicles and aerodynamics.
