Description:
We would like a fresh set of eyes on our device ROBERT, a rehabilitation robot that release healthcare workers of heavy and continuous lifting which can cause physical strain and pain in the back, loin, wrists and shoulders. We aim to optimise rehabilitation through more frequently and prolonged exercises which can result in fewer complications and a faster retrieval of a patient’s strength. See more at www.myrobert.com.The current look is a mixture of many components comming together which does not result in a uniform design. Further we whish to incorporate a new robot arm, made by the company KUKA, the LBR iiwa version, www.kuka.com/en-de/products/robot-systems/industrial-robots/lbr-iiwa. This will later come in a MEDtech version, similar in use but in white and with a small change to the interface base. CAD data of the industrial version can be used for this design, change is that wiring will come out of the bottom of the medtech version and not the sides like the industrial version, so completely round in base instead of the small square thing on the side of the industrial version (so no visible wires). The industrial version can be downloaded here: www.kuka.com/en-de/services/downloads. It is the "LBR iiwa 14 R820" found under division "KUKA Robotics".
Wants:
We want a design that incorporate the brand look of Robert in the design. It shall include the KUKA robot arm. It shall not include a touch screen as currently and also not the small "remote" control positionend next to it (see homepage). It shall symbolize robustness and cleanliness (medical device) and it shall be able to fit to be workable in close distance of a hospital bed (like a human lift). The operator shall be able to move it around with easy accessable handles without kicking the legs into the machine and it shall be large enough to contain "controller cabinet" of arm (attached as stp file)
Don't Wants:
No input on different robot arm look. It must be KUKA device.A device that cannot hold the "controller cabinet" and the "controller cabinet" must not be visible
File Size Limit:
5 MB - 9.9 MB
Software:
- any program that can generate a stp file

Good game guys ;)
Hello all,
The contest stops on Friday. This is a fixed deadline unfortunately.

Kristensen Can you extend the contest two more days?
Thank you
Thank you
your last design is copied from someone by you.its very good...?...lol.
thanks Kabbo, I wouldn't copy anything I've done on this contest, so copy away..... lol
adam please check out my design. i have copied it from your design..:-P....lol.
hi!
concept design will be updated shortly. please wait for the files to upload.
Thank You.

People that don't show their design typically are copying someone elses.
I believe CadCrowd protocol indicates that all messaging be in English.
Design-for-UX thank you.
@Steersman: Just write "LBR" in the "product name" scroll bar, then the "14 R820" come up
Hi
To some degree it is pretty straight forward. Take our existing desing, replace the metal robotic arm with the KUKA model in White. The body (the big White part underneath the metal robotics arm with the logo to it) shall be big enough to hold the controller cabinet as desribed in the brief. The hole thing shall be a clean uniform design that looks as if the KUKA arm was design to just this body and visa versa. Whether you make the design coherent in shape or color or shape is up to you. In that respect you have artistic freedom.

Hi. I am having problems downloading the model. I have found KUKA Robotics under 'Division' and LBR iiwa under 'Product Family', but cannot locate 14 R820.
Can you help?

Hello Kabbo,
The client needs a healthcare rehab robot with a new kuka-arm included in the design and the design should not include the LCD-display and remote as in the current design. It should be clean, simple and free to move around.
Hope it helped you.
Thanks,
GG

what is your want, I really cant got it.a eye design? a arm design? ir a new model of kuka? just a body design?

Leaside Project
I am building a new home and require innovative interior architectural design options ( kitchen, family room, living room and powder room) that will accommodate an exterior elevation that is already defined. One of the most important aspects to this assignment is the location of the interior foyer relative to the location of stairs that go up to the 2nd floor and down to the basement. The desired design of the foyer is to be defined in terms of its presence but not in a manner that it takes away from the interior space in a significant manner. Once a 1st floor layout is approved, the need to prepare a modern and eye catching interior design (with furniture, crown holding, tray ceilings, wainscotting, etc. ) with photo like renderings will be required. I have attached the exterior elevation (which is reversed to the actual location of the garage) but it provides a sense of the foyer location. I have also provided a PDF of the ground floor footprint that we have to work with. The dimensions of the foot print is fixed. This ground floor plan design is not the optimal in terms of the foyer so we are looking for innovative designs that will fit within the plan dimensions and our needs..
Air Freshener Plastic Bottle Design
We are seeking a CAP and bottle design for an AIR FRESHENER product for females. We are seeking a cute unique bottle design in which we can use to make our own custom mold. Attached is additional information of the direction.
Unicycle
Hi all, thanks for checking out my contest! I am involved with a company that is looking to receive some entries for a "prototype" electric unicycle. If you aren't familiar let me give you a brief background. Remember the hoverboards last xmas?? The electric unicycle works on essentially the same principle (upside down pendulum theory) to achieve self balancing capability. The current offerings on the market just don't cut it, the plastics are basically thrown together around the requirements of a build, rather than incorporating the necessary components into the design for a smooth finish. I would like the final product to be somewhat futuristic/prototypish looking, maybe a bit sporty. You can get a feeling for whats out there by doing a google search for "electric unicycle". Integral to the design there are 3 requirements. 1.) Obviously the plastic fairing will need to have a cavity for the wheel, but in addition, it will need to subtly include a space for lipo batteries, (doesnt have to be in any particular shape however), and also must include spot for a pcb control board. Both of these items arent excessively large, the PCB is about 4X3 inches and the batteries are about 5X5X1 (but can be reconfigured). 2.) I would also like to incorporate into my design a headlight, and a tail light if possible, but most concerned with head light. Would also like to leave the option open to include small bluetooth speakers, however these would not take very much space at all. 3.) Finally, this design will need to have a retractable handle for balance when getting on/off.
Smart City Sensor Wall Mount - IoT
We are building a "smart city" type sensor that will be located underground. It will have a wired connection to a Cellular Communicator that uses cellular networks to send the sensor data to cloud server. City employees will mount the Cellular Communicator to walls around the city so that it gets a strong signal. It could be mounted to the wall of a commercial or residential building, in urban or rural environments.
Pictures of the Cellular Communicator are attached.
We need a design for a plastic Wall Mount Bracket that will be used to attach the Cellular Communicator to the wall. We don't want it to stand out, instead we want most people not to notice it, and homeowners to not be bothered by it being mounted on their side or back wall! It should be easy to manufacture by injection mold, and simple to install.
Please provide image files and any neutral CAD file format showing your Wall Bracket design. Images should show how the Communicator fits into the Bracket, and how the Bracket fits against a wall.
Industrial Design of a Hand Pulse Detector
We are looking for a industrial design (outlook) of a hand pulse detector. This device will consist of the following.
1) Two metal plates on the device that will come in contact with hand when grip on it. This will form a closed circuit between the plates and thereby detect the electrical pulse from the hand (refer to attached for the existing device). Ideally the area of each contact surface of the metal plate should be more than 2000 square mm.
2) A micro USB port for charging the battery.
3) Power Indicator
4) ON/OFF switch.
Internal design of the device is not necessary but must cater enough room to house the below
1) 1500 square mm X 1mm (thickness) PCB
2) 750 square mm X 4mm(thickness) battery.
The design shall be in 3D CAD.
