Description:I would like to propose to my boss a new knob for the machines of our company. The company produces catering equipment as griddle, fryers, stoves for restaurant, hospital and so on, made by stainless steel. Actual knob is fine but old, we need an 21st century look. However, we have to maintain the same features of easy cleaning and also has to be easy to use.
Wants:The material used is plastic and the maximum dimensions are 7cm diameter included the ring with the label all around the knob itself that indicate the different positions and so the different power of the machine ( as the volume knob on a stereo). In attached photos and the logo of the company in order to understand. .In addiction, I've put a picture of our competitor, by the way WE WANT TO MAINTAIN IN SOME WAY THE LOGO with the colors ALSO STYLIZED IN THE KNOB..
Don't Wants:too much complicated design, it will be very difficoult to produce the knob moreover it will be very complicated to clean the knob against grease and dirty..

Industrial Safety Glove Design
TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) Protection Zones for Work Gloves We are an industrial work glove manufacturer and one of our main products are gloves with TPR moulded zones which are applied to the back of gloves (either sonic/heat or sewn) to provide protection from knocks, bumps, bangs, compressions etc. Gloves are widely used in the offshore Oil and Gas sector along with mining and automotive sectors. The TPR zones are primarily to protect the fingers, knuckles and metacarpals within the hand – see attached image. We have several mould designs already, attached are two samples TPR1 and TPR2 and we are looking at a new mould also attached named Karbonhex which is based on an Hexagonal pattern/design – the inner hexagonal design is okay but the actual outer/outline needs a redesign to also make it more hexagonal…. This is as much about esthetics as functionality!
