Designed in SolidWorks, this model of dagger is designed keeping requirements of the client in mind.
The Blade is about 8" approx in length, and 1.75" wide at root. The tip of blade have a radius of 0.1 inch to give it a sharp face and long life.
The handle is made of mahogany wood, and bracings are made of brass.

design should be attractive, elegant, realistic, and practically feasible-these were the main things kept in mind while designing this dagger.
The blade is 8" in length and 1.5" appx wide. The handle is 4.5" appx in length which makes it really easy to hold and use.
If the client needs any changes, then please let me know.

Hello Fishbob,
We are a team made of product and mechanical engineers and graphic designers, we have an engineering consultancy and 3D printing rapid prototyping firm.
We worked at your dagger so it can be 3D printable, it can be made using CNC and even mold injected.
We have more proposals for you related to the materials and production methodology: (please check the pdf file in the attachment)
For retail, I recommend you to use the CNC method and as materials: Silver/polish metal for blade and Wood Mahogany for the handle, and you can cover the handle (the middle part of it) with leather.
I can modify the design for you and keeping the manufacturing requirements as well.
Please consider my proposal.
If any questions or further informations, please contact me.
Have a nice day,
Liviu Barbu

Dear Buyer,

I see that you have extended the deadline. Could we know what are the reasons?
Have none of designs fulfilled your idea? :?

Do you want the exact handle design as the provided picture or would you consider other designs?
Mon, 14 Sep 2015 20:00:08 +0000
Is this a full tang, one piece, or several parts (handle, blade, crossguard)?
Mon, 14 Sep 2015 12:47:54 +0000
Will an Inventor File be acceptable? We can export and send as an STEP file of course. Thanks.

So, I just wanted to confirm, an STL file of the dagger would be accepted? Also could you provide a top down view so we could get the curves exactly as you wanted them, in addition to the proportion of the handle to the blade?

Entry 1, my only concern if this is to be a real part, is that at an 8" long total length, the handle is about 3 inches with a 4.5 inch blade which is what I get to use the proportions. Adjustments are easy if you want them. Enjoy

About 8" long from top of handle to
end of blade. Please make sure they are in proportion
as in the attachment sample.
Thanks

Creo would be fine.
As long as the file is STEP / STL
as the CNC Milling Machine accepts only thoes formats.
Thanks

You have solidworks listed as a software requirement, but need a step format. Step files are able to be produced by many CAD softwares, and would not have a resolution. For 3D printing, an STL file in high res would make sense, for the CNC, you would want the step. Do you also need a solidworks file? I can produce this in Creo and give you a step and stl, but not the solidworks native.

Use current hand drawn sketch as a general template. Convert to CAD, adding a foyer at the main entrance/door and toilet (with windows) off of the foyer before Living Room #1. Provide separation of some sort between the foyer and Living Room #1. Relative room sizes should be similar but exact dimensions are not required. Natural lighting of all areas is important. No HVAC systems. To be build in tropical Africa. 2D required, 3D will be nice. Feel free to use colors if needed.
Adjustable Serving Tupperware
In theory, this is very basic. Although I am just a law student and by no means an engineer of any sort. My idea is to create a tupperware that has slits in a grid like form on the bottom and sides. Additionally there would be slits under the lid. With the grid-like slits, one would be able to put inserts in order to separate there food. with the insert going into the bottom, sides and the lid, there would be a nice seal from any liquids or foods mixing with the others. Obviously, the point of the grid is to be able to create different sized servings and adjust them from bouncing around. Basically, one could put a perfect compact cup of rice, another for veggies etc. The preserving tupperware current on the market do not allow this and one has to purchase a thousand of them. My vision is for it to be able 10 inches in length with a 5 inch witch and about 2.5 inches tall. The top of the tupperware and lid should look similar to your standard rubbermaid tupperware. the walls of the tupperware should not be less or more than 90 degrees. The corners and need to be rounded. The slits them selves should not be to shallow, for that would defeat the purpose of them. My estimation is that they would be about .5 centimeters. Because of the slits, the bottom and sides could/maybe/should form a ridge like surface. (think of ruffles) Lastly, the ridges, or slits should be continuous, at least in my mind around the entirety of the tupperware, which means the lid will need to account for vertical ridges along the walls of the tupperware and still be able to seal it. Although I will not prepay, being the cautious man of law that I am, payment will be given upon the winner being chosen. AND, in the event that my price is significantly low balled and outrageous I will increase it if no one in their right mind would accept it. Thank you.
