Description:
3D Fuel is a 3D printer filament manufacturing company. Our mascot is the panther chameleon! We are looking for a cartoon looking chameleon that we can print without supports in a single print. If we must have supports the less supports the better. We don't want people who print this to have to "clean it up" too much. This is something that we would like to bring to trade shows and post on our website with our different color filament. We want this mascot to be an icon! When people see this chameleon they will know what company it belongs to.
Wants:
We want the chameleon to be a cartoon version of a panther chameleon. Make it look friendly. The tail I imagine will be the hardest to print without supports but maybe have it tightly coiled or wrapping around a tree branch. Get creative! We need this file to be an .STL or .Gcode file.
Don't Wants:
We don't want it looking like the Geico Gecco. Don't want it too "real" looking. Think of a caricature version of a chameleon. We don't need extreme detail.
File Size Limit:
10 MB - 24 MB
Software:
- AutoCAD (Latest)

#19 Chamaleon Panther
by Flaviano Crespi
This is a variant of the previous model. The body has been divided into various sectors to differentiate the colors of the rainbow.
Using the source STEP you can generate an STL file of a single piece, or divide it into sectors components to print in various colors.
The sectors may be improved by adding connecting pins.

#13 Chameleon Character
by Pablo Gosso
Character design brief:
I designed this character as a humanoid rather than a 4 legged animal. This gives us more freedom to change proportions and create a cutter and interesting character.
It also let us more room if we need to create different poses for further expressions or action for marketing campaign.
Also we can create 3d printing toys with different posses.
Further with the design concept, the basic and more upfront feature is his color. This of course show this chromatic changing blend of 3D printing color materials.
If we take a closer look in the design, we can see he is holding his tail in his left hand. His tail is in reality as a mix of 3 color filaments. I designed in order to allow the real connection of 3 spool filament with each tail tip
In essence the connection with spool filaments work as a connection of the brand character with the 3D printer spool material.
We can go even further with this idea an design a spool rack with brand character for exhibition of products in 3D shops .
The name of the character is still pending and I think it would be great to make a contest among costumers to name him.
Technical aspect of the design:
The model was created with Rhinoceros +T spline Nurbs surfaces, then exported to Meshmixer for texturing and finally rendered in Keyshot
Hope you like the design
Looking forward to your feedback, Pablo

Hi 3D_fuel,
Can you rate my designs please !! ?
Can you rate my designs please !! ?
I hope you can extend this contest sir,
OOppss!
I did confusion between 3D and 3D Fuel Fuel !!
But as you can have almost identical names, in areas that are neighbors, scanners rather than printers.
However, the concept is the same, I will change the logo!

I am submitting an entry. Hope you can wait sir, Thanks
Pablo, yes it can be in a more humanoid position! Not a lot of restrictions here:)
Hi 3D fuel,
I just wonder if you would like to try the character to be more humanoid position, like standing in 2 legs or climb in a vertical branch, or you want to keep it in 4 legs just like?

I would like someone to try and do a different version of the chameleon sitting down like in the picture I just uploaded. Make the tail all coiled behind him and make him look more like a chameleon because this one looks more like a dinosaur.
Feel free to use any software you like!
I have uploaded a picture of what we are kind of looking for under attachments. Doesn't have to be exact.
I will post a picture of what we have an idea for a mascot just as a reference. Will be sometime later today! Thanks
May you give any referance??
Yes, you can use Solidworks
Hi there, can I use Solidworks for this project, or does it HAVE to be AutoCAD?

3D printable mount to turn 'tiny whoop' drone parts (+paper) into a remote control paper airplane with FPV
I would like to remix 5 'things' on 'thingverse'.
The core 'thing' that inspired the project is this paper airplane motor mount created by Peter Sripol: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2905006
This video describes how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSDNgnhJ-FM
But, I’m using different drone parts, and adding a camera.
Full details are provided in the attached PDF.
The reason for remixing five 'things' is that means the hard work of sizing the 3d-printed parts to match the electronics has been done for us.
Note that I do not need a CAD file, just a 3d-printable .stl file.
Note that I'm asking for three versions.
Pendant
Looking to create a 3d model of a pendant. The pendant should look like a sphere with holes similar to the ones on the ring in the attached file
3D Sculpture for Mini-Art Piece:
CONCEPT
The smallest actions, characteristics, attachments, interactions stay with us. People follow us, affecting our consciousness in subtle ways to form each unique part of our being.
PIECE DESCRIPTION
Imagine a representation of people leaving traces in your home with finger prints of places they might have touched.
Getting tactical, think of small oval pads for each finger print. Coming up on all sides of the pad would be a splash. They are like fingerprints with energy coming out of them.
Please the attached sketches and inspiration.
Stack of Schnauzer puppies
I need a 3D drawing of a stack of schnauzer puppies (in diapers) that are placed on top of one another (alternating back and front). I intend to 3D print this out and it's meant as a Christmas present.
Secret Electrical Box
Hi all,
We are looking for a 3D design of electrical box, There is a plug on the box to connect EV charger cable( the side with the holes example 1) and the other side should be able to connect to the electricity plug on the wall.
There are 2 LED lights on it, one for one/off 1 for active. There is one button on the box that is called override.
We would first choose the best design and then change the colour and logo to match our preferences. The box size should not be bigger than 15x20 cm.
