About
I am an experienced CAD Designer specialising in Piping and Mechanical Design, with more than 20 years of experience working with 2D and 3D CAD systems across engineering, mining, minerals, power, process industries and the oil and gas industries.
I have also done design work in multidisciplinary projects in mechanical design, assembly and parts lists, general architectural drawings, and drawings for a 3d printer.
My experience includes Piping 3D Modelling, Isometrics, P&Id’s, Mechanical Design, MTOs, Line Lists, equipment layouts, and engineering documentation. I have worked on both Greenfield and Brownfield projects and am comfortable adapting to different project requirements, CAD standards, and design environments.
Alongside my CAD experience, I have developed strong skills in data management and administration, including creating and maintaining equipment databases, managing engineering information, capturing and validating data, and producing reports using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. This combination of CAD and data experience allows me to understand not only the design itself, but also the importance of accurate and structured engineering information.
I enjoy learning new software and technologies and have experience supporting and training colleagues in CAD systems. I take pride in producing accurate, practical, and high-quality work while meeting project deadlines.
