- Mechanical Design Engineer Fabify · Part-time May 2024 – Present 1 yrs 7 mos Islamabad, Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan At Fabify, I worked as a Design Engineer, where I helped bring ideas to life by making designs more practical and ready for manufacturing. I supported clients by improving their 3D printing and CNC projects through design-for-manufacturing (DFM) consultations, making sure their concepts could be efficiently produced. I designed mechanical assemblies, enclosures, and components for Fabify’s upcoming CNC machines, using SolidWorks to create both 3D models and detailed 2D drawings. I enjoyed working directly with clients to understand their needs and turn them into manufacturable solutions. I also conducted DFMEA to catch potential issues early and improve product reliability. A big part of my work involved rapid prototyping, using in-browser slicing tools and real-time tracking systems to quickly test and refine designs.
