I’m a conservation architect, researcher, and founder of Patina Architecture & Restoration, with over 14 years of experience documenting historic buildings and developing conservation projects.
I provide architectural history and archival research, conservation advice, and technical editing for heritage reports and publications. I review drawings and reports together to check whether conclusions are supported by the available evidence and identify what needs further documentation or on-site verification.
My fieldwork includes surveying buildings with a FARO Focus M70 terrestrial laser scanner (LiDAR) and processing the scans into registered point clouds.
For remote projects, I convert client-supplied point clouds into 2D AutoCAD drawings, including measured floor plans, sections, and elevations. I also check existing DWG or PDF drawings against point clouds and orthophotos and deliver annotated drawings with a prioritized list of corrections.
