About
EPRA T3-certified Solar Projects Engineer based in Nairobi, Kenya, with a BSc in Renewable Energy and Environmental Physics (JKUAT) and an MSc in Energy Technology in progress. I design, supervise and commission commercial, institutional and off-grid solar PV and battery storage systems, from 5 kVA hybrid sites to a 90 kWp hybrid plant, and borehole solarization projects for clients such as UNODC, UNON, KAA, KCB, World Vision, IRC and TotalEnergies. My design work covers PV array and string layouts, single line diagrams (SLDs), electrical panel design, cable and equipment sizing, bills of quantities and technical proposals, using PVsyst, AutoCAD, MATLAB and Excel. I also bring site assessment, energy audit, preventive maintenance and fault investigation experience, so my designs are practical to build and maintain.
