Along the way, I got comfortable navigating KiCad’s workspace essentials: managing paper formats, using shortcuts to drop power symbols and cleanly routing wires. Naturally, I ran into a few roadblocks like dealing with the Electrical Rules Checker (ERC) flagging unannotated parts with question marks and sorting out. Fixing those designators, cleaning up overlapping wires, and configuring proper non-polarized components gave me a solid grasp of how KiCad verifies a schematic before moving on to PCB layout.
