Want help from a designer like CortSmi?
About
I help inventors and product teams turn ideas into designs that can be made. I also run FEA and CFD analysis whenever a project calls for it.
CAD and product design
I design in SolidWorks, Fusion 360 and Inventor. That covers product and mechanical parts, enclosures and housings, 3D printed prototypes, design changes for manufacturing, and old STEP or mesh files rebuilt into models you can edit. Technical drawings (DXF, DWG) and product renderings come with the model whenever you need them.
FEA and CFD analysis
I run stress, heat transfer and fluid flow studies in ANSYS and Abaqus whenever you ask for them, on your own models or on designs I build for you. You get a clear report with the setup, results and my recommendations, written so your whole team can follow it.
What you receive:
- Editable CAD files plus STEP, STL or DXF as you need them
- 2D drawings (DXF, DWG) with the dimensions your shop needs
- Product renderings for listings, pitches or approvals
- FEA and CFD reports with plots and plain explanations
- Straight feedback if something will be hard or costly to make
Send me your sketch, files or load conditions and tell me how the part will be made. I will reply with questions, a plan and a fair quote.
